Goshen Evangelical Church believes in the Trinity, God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that the God Father is the Creator of everything and that He has all the Power beyond what we can imagine. Through our faith, we are certain that God has manifested Himself to save the humanity through His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Savior and the Redeemer whom God has sent to the World to wipe out the humanity’s generational sin inherited from Adam’s and Eve transgression.
Jesus, the Only Begotten Son of God the Lord has died to save the humanity of its generational sin but also was resurrected to prove that He has the power over death. Jesus’ resurrection is a proof that those who believe in Him will resurrect and live an eternal life. We believe that the Holy Spirit lives in and with us and has been sent to those who truly accept Jesus Christ as the Son of the Living God to continuously reveal the Lord God’s will.
The Holy Spirit operates in us and has the role of leading the church and Christians across the Globe to reach the level of perfection.
We believe that the Bible is the only infallible Scripture that reveals God’s will to human race. The Bible is composed of Old Covenant and the New Testament. The Bible remains an inspiration of the will of God to the humanity. Following the Bible as a Word of God, we believe in the power of being born of the water and the Holy Spirit to fulfill God’s mission across generations.
We exercise and believe in full immersion baptism as a sign of the death and burial of Jesus Christ and a symbol of union with God the Son who offered Himself as a sacrifice of our sins.
As the Bible recommends, we believe in equality before God despite everyone’s background, experience, or the skin color. In this regard, we consider all our differences constitute the human diversity that reveal the Power of God. Our church preaches Christian values and practices including love, forgiveness, mutual respect, humility, and mutual support. As Jesus Christ has died and resurrected, our church believes and preaches the good news that He will return in his glory. We believe that those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior will be granted eternal life while the wicked will eternally be punished.
